Should I have mentioned my crush on TV Presenter Caroline Flack? um…….
Following my November 2016 meeting with TV production company, Zig Zag Productions, I returned to once again explore ideas with Zak & Erin – both TV Development Researchers at the company. Specialising is non-scripted TV formats, Zig Zag Productions has produced programming for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Five, MTV, FOX, Discovery, National Geographic and more.
‘Non-scripted’ is a TV format style I gravitate towards, because as an independent content creator/presenter, I feel most alive producing real-life/authentic content that is underpinned by uncertainty and spontaneity – illustrated most recently during my huge six-month #100Musicians challenge.
During my chat with Erin & Zak, I was stunned by how the projects they’re currently developing share common qualities to my content, which, of course, served only to heighten my enjoyment of our meeting.
In this video, I share my journey to Zig Zag Productions – including a little reference to a documentary I’m currently producing, an encounter with a kind citizen in the street and my crush on Love Island & former X-Factor TV presenter Caroline Flack. On reflection, however, the Caroline Flack bit was largely unnecessary. Actually, no, it’s never unnecessary to cite Caroline Flack!!
